Washington State Capitol Building February 25th was a key cutoff date for bills in the 2009 legislative session. Bills that were not passed out of committee are considered “dead” for the remainder of session. Bills that have moved from a policy committee into a fiscal committee are still very much active. The next key date will be March 12th which is the last day for bills to be considered in their house of origin.

Bills of interest are tracked which may have an impact on land owners, in this case, working land managers with issues such as Water, Land Use, etc… Simply select the category of interest from the table below and view the bills.
